PAINTIN AND DRAWING
Hi, I specialise in classical oil painting on stretcher bars. I paint a variety of figurative subjects, mainly in a style reminiscent of post-impressionism: focusing on mood, play of colours and light.
Landscapes
As much as I can, I try to paint this subject matter live, at least to be able to observe the colours and depth in the least distorted form possible, at least for a while. I take on a variety of subjects, but outside of commissions I like to relax by painting woodland landscape subjects.
Urban landscape
Animalistics
In an animal, I try to capture character, movement and dynamics.
Man
As in landscape, I rely on live contact with the model, at least in the initial phase of the work, when I get to know the features of the appearance in order to render the likeness accurately.
