Rodrigo Franco

My name is Rodrigo Franco and I’m from Machico, Madeira Island. I was born in 2002, and I’m currently studying Communication, Culture and Organizations at UMa.

My drive for artistic creation comes from a great interest in exploring both chaotic and fluid feelings related to nature and human psychology. Much of the inspiration comes from artistic movements like neoclassicism, romanticism as well as literary and philosophical movements, such as existentialism and absurdism, having as influence Nietzsche, Sartre, Dostoyevsky, Pessoa, Camus, amongst other thinkers.

I use mainly digital photography and cinematography to convey my ideas and subliminal messages through symbolism, always trying to touch other forms of expression creating congruence between them.
