“Connect your money” is a global project developed by a group of students of social studies and economics class of Jorge Augusto Correia Secondary School, in Tavira – Portugal. This project started from a students’ idea about the main question: “How to distinguish real money from fake money?”. They had to prepare a practical understanding for some technologic security elements provided in Euro banknotes and coins, a very important and powerful currency that could be a temptation to be a target of frauds and fake money.
Students prepared some short digital products by themselves, as video, photography and graphic works that can easily facilitate how to show it and this is a work tool for connecting learning. Those tools had to be used to support them in public presentations.
These final products are now an interactive lesson about money security online and can help anyone to discover in a fast and simple way how to recognize real money helped with some simple videos.
